Bad location with maintenance issues, mostly friendly staff

Difficult to get in and out. Walking to nearby businesses very difficult given how back parking lot is closed off to neighboring street requiring walking long route through very sketchy neighborhood where we saw significant evidence of substance abuse and soliciting prostitutes at night. One way road on main entrance made it difficult to navigate to/from by car. Had difficulty getting out of parking lot and had to wait for 5 minutes at one point due to arborist company (that I was told had leased the parking lot for 6 months) heavy equipment blocking all routes of egress. Room service didn't make up beds one day without any notice although clearly replaced towels. Staff overall were otherwise friendly and helpful. Climate control in our room wasn't working well. Ideal temperature in the room read on the thermostat as 12 degrees, which is obviously wrong. At night often the room's temperature would rise until it got way too hot, then the A/C would kick on until the room became way too cold, repeating most of the night. Bathtub didn't drain properly without completely removing the drain plug, showing the icky underside of it and the drain itself. The tub's textured surface had worn down and was so slippery as to feel unsafe without putting a wet towel in the tub to stand on. Bed comfort was average. Breakfast was a little below average but acceptable. Saw at the desk that they offer a 5% discount to anyone who posts a 5 star Google review. Knocking for this tactic as they are essentially bribing people to submit biased or dishonest reviews.

Guy at desk late night was awesome! Told us where to find good pizza. A little confusing to get to. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked like average over processed fare. Try the tacos next to gas station around corner!!! Would go back to hotel. And I’m super picky!!!

Location is close to downtown Dallas and close to freeways. Quick trip to Plano and to the Galleria. Property staff are hit or miss. Room accommodations were okay but the cleanliness let something to be desired. If you have a problem there is some resolution but not entirely.

Front desk check in was rude . Room was stinky dont wanna give extra stuff. All the stuff done even smile And people loud . Parking lot scary too Food is very awful . Breakfast and coffee yucky . Very unfriendly

This hotel was clean and comfortable, good amenities, friendly and helpful staff, good central location. that made my trip easy. I would definitely stay here again next time I am this Dallas area for business.
